de Le Cuona fabric walling is created on-site and tailored to each room. For a classic trimmed edge finish, a frame is created around the edges of the walls, doors, windows, electrical, or light fittings, and any other architectural detail. The walls are then covered with wadding in between the frame. This padding creates a soft feel and acoustic to the finished walling.
Drops of your chosen fabric are then carefully stitched together ensuring patterns are matched precisely where necessary creating one continuous piece of fabric per wall.
The fabric is then stretched across the padded walls and stapled to the very edges of the frame. In each corner, the pattern is matched perfectly. The stapled edges are then finished with a braid or piping of your choosing.
For a contemporary effect without a trimmed edge but with all the benefits of a traditionally upholstered wall, the installation team can use an edging system that prevents the need to use staples. This technique creates a smart finish to the edges of your walling as no braiding or piping is required.
